Memorial Ambulatory Surgery Center is Consistently Rated in the Top 10 Percent in the United States for Patient Satisfaction

MASC provides this highest quality surgical care with over a hundred specially trained surgeons on staff. Most of our surgeons are also on staff at Virtua Memorial Hospital – located directly across the street.

Our staff of anesthesiologists and nurses are highly skilled, fully qualified, licensed health care professionals.

The center is created and operated exclusively for the purpose of providing quality ambulatory surgical care to patients in a facility in which surgical procedures can be safely carried out on an outpatient basis.

In line with this purpose, the Center shall:

  • Strive to ensure that all patients treated at its facility shall received quality medical care.
  • Strive to ensure a high level of professional responsibility and performance.
  • Initiate and maintain rules of self-assessment and continuous quality improvement.
  • Provide an option for patients’ surgical and other outpatient invasive procedures.
  • Provide directly or indirectly support services that enhance or otherwise contribute to the overall mission and purpose of the Center.

The Memorial Ambulatory Surgery Center (MASC) has a 3-year accreditation (longest accreditation granted) given by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare (AAAHC)
